Overview
Welcome to The American Society of Dermatopathology’s (ASDP) online CME program. The Continuing Medical Education mission of ASDP is to provide a comprehensive educational program that will improve the quality of dermatopathology by increasing the knowledge, skills, and professional performance of dermatopathologists, dermatologists and pathologists. ASDP seeks to demonstrate current knowledge of dermatopathology, teach dermatopathology at all skill levels and encourage research in dermatopathology and allied fields to its members and other physician participants.
The CME program shall provide learners with quality educational materials, appropriate learning objectives, conducive learning methods, and effective teaching faculty. These elements will help precipitate new and refined skills in dermatopathology, increased levels of knowledge in the field, and improved practical application to daily practice and scientifically valid clinical content. The program is expected to improve physician competence in diagnosing routine and non-routine dermatopathology cases and performance in the diagnostic and consultative services to treating physicians, both of which are expected to improve patient therapies.
