The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education credits for physicians.

The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) designates this educational activity for a maximum of 29.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in this activity.

Target Audience:
Allergy and immunology physicians and FITs preparing to take the 2008 ABAI certification and maintenance of certification exams. Allergists and immunologists seeking a literature review. Physicians who have completed their training but have never taken the ABAI exam.

Medium and Method of Physician Participation:
The AAAAI/ACAAI Certification/Maintenance of Certification Board Review Course consists of recordings of sessions presented during the live course which took place April 16-19, 2008 in Chicago, Illinois. To complete this activity:
  1. Review the target audience, learning objectives and disclosures
  2. View the individual sessions, as well as the syllabus materials and review questions for each session.
  3. For each unit of the course, complete the activity evaluation.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage the current problems and issues in allergy and immunology in preparation for the ABAI examination.

AAAAI Disclosure Policy:
Pursuant to the Code of Ethics for the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the Standards for Commercial Support of Continuing Medical Education of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, the AAAAI requires disclosure of certain information from faculty members of educational activities designated for CME credit by the AAAAI. Prior to the activity, faculty members are required to disclose all relationships that meet the following parameters:
  1. Employment. Name of employer and job title.
